Strong choice for teaching couples (savings are much higher - my information is a teacher with a dependent) with young kids. Manila is hard to navigate and not a great city in terms of getting around (limited transport, lots of traffic), but the school is located in a very modern Urban center that is easy living. Everything is in English and we have lots of foreign amenities. Great location in Asia for travel. Men and people with young families (due to low cost of childcare) tend to stay longer; single women tend to not last long here. School is British / International with a strong reputation. The staff isn't a very social / cohesive group and people tend to have their own lives outside of school, so there is work-life separation. Working hours and expectations are reasonable. People tend to wear many hats.
