Mixed feelings. Firstly, the accommodation provided is unfurnished. There is 2nd-hand things available to buy in the area but can add up. You are put in a hotel for the first week and paperwork is started for you. After that first week, you move into your unfurnished apartment. 1 bed for singles, 2 bed for couples, 3 for family. Nice, clean place. But, the location is about 45 minute drive away from the school with not much to do in the area. No real expat areas in Al Ain. Staff in the accommodation building do not socialize at all. Taxi for a 45 minute drive to work can cost up to $10 one way.
