Salaries are high but cost of living is very high. Dover Court is upper-middle tier, with lower salaries than Tanglin Trust School, UWC, Dulwich and Singapore American School. Colleagues with kids cannot save money AT ALL even with free tuition. Savings potential is good if you have no kids, are a careful spender and are high on the pay scale (or if you are a teacher couple). Management is friendly but not exactly competent. Health insurance is good - it doesn't cover the expensive private hospitals in Singapore but it covers the government hospitals including NUH, which are high quality. Living in Singapore is not for everyone - you either love it or hate it. Dover Court is an inclusive school which takes many children with SEND. Behaviour is not great, particularly in the primary school.
